Durham Vocal Festival was established by Durham Music Service in 2017 to celebrate the heritage and quality of Vocal music making nationally and internationally.

Establishing itself as a high profile festival in the annual concert diary of the North East, Durham Vocal Festival looks to showcase vocal talent from Primary age through to the professional artists. Recent performers include: The King's Singers, Apollo5, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Mahogany Opera.

By intrinsically linking each performance to education and community outreach work, we strive to not only raise the profile of Vocal music but to develop singing and choral practice across the North East.
